I just ordered one of them clear blue ELM 327 V1.5 dongles. I have no idea on this stuff but ill try follow you guys on the other thread and learn something. I got an old s2 wonder if I can just use that and leave it in the car.

Yeah I seen that about a minute after posting lol. I read the whole thing and now my brain hurts. You guys know your sh*t with this stuff and ill be following with interest. Do all them dongle things do the same thing or is there a better one than the other?

Looking at buying a scan tool of eBay and came across these bluetooth things that use a smart phone. Are they any good and what is my best option for just a cheap one?

My fg f6 has a creaking noise when turning lock to lock. What should I be looking at?

Mine does the p023d code and comes up the same explanation. When that code is triggered the engine light will flash for about 20 seconds then go away. I think it is something to do with over boosting but I'm not sure.

Not traction control. I had it on a snap on diagnostics and it has a fault logged being P023D Manifold Absolute Preasure - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor A Correlation. Any ideas??

Same as a harley frame.. If you bend it harley will send you a new one but you need to send the bent frame or at least the cut off piece with the numbers to them and they will stamp up the same numbers..

I could tell some stories bout them as well... just one here is I had a knocking noise in the back of the car goin over bumpy roads so off it went to mac ford for warranty.. they ring me and say it was a loose wheel bearing that they nipped up..well it lasted another 1500 ks after that and let go on the freeway at 120...the noise was that loud I near shat my self.. I nursed it home which is 40 ks from mac ford..ring em and tell em what has happened and they tell me to drive it in and they will look at it...no chance... I have it towed and they look at it and tell me the bearing is stuffed(which I told em on the phone) take it home and bring it back tommorow cause they dont have one in stock...I couldnt believe he was telling me to drive it home after I had it towed down there..sh*t flew and I left it there with no courtsy car either... my list of dramas with them is massive...

hi all... am about to purchase a turbo diesel about a 07 and was wondering if any of you guys have any input or experiance on the two. just want to know if there is common problems or faults and wat to look for and steer away from..I know this aint a 4x4 forum and I have been doin a lot of research over the last week but I know we have a lot of informative people on here and just thought I would see what they think...every bit of info I get will help me make a decision...thanks..
