just have to sell my CBR600RR and the gearbox is going to be updated to the T56. I figure once the clutch and gearbox are changed then I should be ok to go with the tune, injectors etc. -Matt.

Hey guys and gals. I have a mk I BA Xr6T is it worth upgrading the cams to the Mk2 Typhoon Cams ? is there much difference in them ? Seen a set cheap and wondered if they were worth buying ?? -Matt

Just thought Id post up some pics of the upgrades Ive done. ICC and DVD player installed properly ( havent connected the converter for the screen to play dvd's yet !! *SIGH* ) Guages Installed ( Although not happy with the Pod that holds em in ) Lowered ( Pedders ) Not crazy low, but enough that I can still visit my olds on their farm Cheap mags and tires from Ebay SS Inductions Big mouth CAI with K&N Filter & Typhoon 2nd CAI Clear & Black Mk II tail lights ( Ute is a MK I and what a pain in the rear this job was !! ) Ipod AUX Cable & Aux Splitter installed Centre Muffler has been removed and Twin Stainless Steel Hotdogs in its place. New Xr6 skirt badges and Lower grille installed. Ordering this week. 1. Stage I Process west Intercooler Kit 2. Mal Wood Option 3 Clutch Kit 3. Biggger Injectors. Then off to get it all tuned. Have a Ford Flash II box with a generic 10psi tune, but have set the car back to stock until all the upgrades are done, and tuned ( especially the clutch !!!! ) Realise from the forums here that my 5 speed Gearbox is sh*t and will eventually change it to the 6 speed T56.... when I get some more dollars !! Anyway.... Im hooked on my ute. -Matt

I would have thought the centre muffler would be the restrictor. Isnt it the 1st place in the line that reduces in size ? Just had my centre muffler removed and replaced with hotdogs today. -Matt.

Havent connected that box yet, have got the dvd unit in, and the amps went in last night. Trying to get it all done by the weekend. Im not chasing huge KW gain, just something better than normal.... seems the HP bug hasnt effected me too bad....... YET.

Ive just received my SS Inductions Big Mouth CAI. Is it advisable to keep the snorkel from the F6 installed ? OR is there such a thing as too much air intake ? Is this even a problem with this type of air intake ?? Stupid question I know, but im green to all this ( as you guys might have noticed ) -Matt

is there any harm running 60lb injectors without a tune. I plan on changing my injectors soon too, however wont have the time off to get it tuned until july. Am I better putting them in right before the tune ?

Started to read it, but after the 1st sentance I realised it was sh*t........... ROFL

Sounds like a waste of the stock unit ( not to mention I cant use the buttons on the steering wheel anymore ) but I used the RCA outs from the DVD head unit to go to the amps. That way I had 4 channels and seperate control for the Sub without having to rewire it all. Just means that the stock unit is a fancy display for DVD's and Climate control only. Not the best result, but effective non the less. -Matt

Just completed this mod to my xt6t. Took it for a spin. Loving it. K&N filter arrives next week, so will see how it all goes then. Measurements were a blessing.... Karma +1 -Matt

Hey guys, fitted up my new Colour ICC tonight and had every intention of connecting up my JVC In dash DVD player.... problem is.... there is nowhere on the back of my ICC to connect the RCA. Am I missing something ? I see that my new ICC has a white plug ( large ) hanging out of the bottom that the other head unit didnt have. Ive looked all over these forums to find the answer and cant find it. Am I going crazy, Im sure I looked all over the ICC for the Video RCA connector. -Matt.

Will do. I did install the 10psi tune and took the ute for a run.... must say.... not really as impressive as I first though it would be.... dont know what I was expecting. The sneeze is a little more noticable though, and it does rev up quicker Id recon...... Interesting... Think it will go better with new injectors and a bigger intercooler.... hehe -Matt.

Hey all. Recently bought my BA XR6T and really found these forums by luck. What an awesome resource for XR6T !!! Due to reading these forums I already have my ute booked in to be lowered, have the centre muffler removed and replaced with Hot Dogs, Have the Premium sound ICC purchased, 18" Rims coming, SS inductions Guages Pod and 2 Autometer Guages ( Boost and Oil Pressure ), Typhoon 2nd air intake and a Ford Flash II.
