yeah its stock as a chopping block.. no worries ill get it on a dyno asap! wen it comes to tuning, would a capa generic tune make any difference? also, would I need a blank capa flash box so the tuners can make a custom one up 4 me or would they just do it another way?

**UPDATE** ok, so I fitted my cooler today took me a little longer than expected but that's ok... it was hell worth it!!! a problem which im now noticing and im not too sure if its serious. - when under heavy throttle after about 4500rpm, the car starts to "purr" and no more power can go to it, hard to describe but feels like im hitting the rev limiter in a sence. Lets me boot it but it gets to a certain point then just "chugs" and doesnt let me go no more, I have to ease up on the accelerator then just drive sensibly again? it does it all the time, what could it be? it never done it with the stock cooler and xover, and I changed from lpg to petrol and see if it done it again and it still does! Im real concerned about this, if anyone could shed some light that would be great fyi: all the hoses and pipes are clamped tight and the boost sensor is fitted correctly, I made sure of that! I've blocked off the bov as well, never had a problem with the stock system could that be something I should be looking at? cheers. fkn ridiculous how the labour costs more than the parts...

I wanna fit 3 gauges.. ive bough pole positions' tripod and 3 stepper motor gauges (Boost, Oil Press, Water Temp) and I rang a couple auto elecs and they had minimal clue how to install them (weird since its kind of in their trade).. Autobarn are the only people who have any idea but they want to charge me $90 per gauge + extras for the temp and oil press = $350+ does anyone know a place in Melb where I can get them fitted cheaper or anyone here wanna help me out who has done b4 and ill fix you up $$? (im in the northern suburbs) cheers edit: its a BA.. lol

Hey guys, I just got my Rapid V2 kit in and I was wondering what tools would need for installation this weekend. I.e. Angle grinder, hacksaw, screwdriver.. etc? What size drill bits do I need to make the custom holes? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Have to say I just put my BA T on Liquid gas about 2 weeks ago now like worm's setup and loving every second of it. My car is stock (for the moment, RAPID's kit to arrive shortly) and I couldn't be happier, except I went for the smaller donut tank option to replace the spare wheel so boot space still exists (50ltrs) yet only get around 250km out of a tank. My theory is that I was paying $95 per tank on petrol (450km), and now im paying $25 per tank of gas (250km), I know I have to fill up more often but I dont care. 250x2 = 500km; $50 love the savings!! (of course now fuel being a bit cheaper, not that dramatic difference, but u never know with this economic crap what will happen) Power wise, on the dyno I was pulling 165rwkw on petrol and pulled 168rwkw on gas (keep it mind that was after 8 or so runs on a 30ºC day, and the fitter couldn't get a bigger fan that day). Bottom end, yes petrol was better but the graph curves were pretty well matched through the midrange and top end. Once the new cooler and other bits and pieces are fitted, ill re-tune and dyno it and we'll c how it goes! so final conclusion, I think the setup is definitely the way to go and if u plan to have your T for a while, you'll never regret filling it up for around $50 a week.

yeah I was going to take off the whole thing and do a full swap instead of stuffing around.with the whole leather inserts.. is it a massive job? I know the back seats are easy but what about the two front ones?

because I was gonna turn my T into a 10 seater stretch-limo... haha nah cos another mate just has a falcon and his seats have holes everywhere, I was gonna handball it off to him.

yeh I was thinkin that... but will they take a write off with a gutted interior or do I need to replace it?

My mate just bought a BA XR8.. had it for 14hrs, and some d!ckhead coming in the opposite direction fell asleep at the wheel at 4am and wrote off his car..14 HRS!!!! anyway, he was optioned up and im thinkin of buying his full leather interior and colour ICC off him, how much do u think I should pay? (mates rates) (haha and dont say "nothing" coz its a wright off anyway) the condition of both of those things are still in awesome condition

my mate 's got a VX SV6 in that baby blue colour and just bought 18" SS wheels that were already powder coated white, I was a bit judgmental at first thinkin it would just look like a jap drift car like, but didnt come up too shabby when we put em on.. but a b!tch to keep clean though. but yeah, u definatly need 19s and dumped or 20's and a nice height to pull it off. 5 Spokers in white FTW

or those VX/VZ SS ute drivers that have the stupid chev badges.. haha nah but I think wheels are different and u can get away with it.. like the XR6T drivers that have F6 fronts, FRIGGEN HOT but im not gonna go genuine FPVs, theres plenty of good knock-offs that are a shtload cheaper. I think the enzo's with a little bit of dish in the back will look micky like what dose said, but the agents keep the ford look and they're top wheels.. the battle continues

hey guys this has been annoying me for 3 weeks coz I dont know what wheels to go for? im tossing up between the FPV Dark Agents or the Osaka Enzo's in black. Now, my T is a BA MK1 in Mercury Silver and I just need some honest opinions. Does anyone have a Mercury Silver with dark agents? hey worm, im gettin my T converted now down at ICES in rowville and should be ready Wed/Thur.. hopefully I dont have as much trouble as you've gone through.. Question though, my BA XR is completely stock n like u said before u cant push it over 260kw.. is it just because the injectors that are fitted wont handle it or its coz of the actual LPG setup? Once the conversion is done I was hoping to get over the 300 benchmark but now a little bit scared to do mods.
