5th Anniversary Gt
Can someone tell me what '5' Anniversay means? Also, what's so special about 5 years? In automotive terms that's a piss weak excuse for an anniversary. The car itself looks fine. I agree it would've been nice if it had more power etc but the 20th anniversary HSV wasn't any better... although at least 20 years was a worthwhile anniversary to celebrate.

Anyone Have Pics Of A G6et In Red
One of the latest dedicated Ford magazines (can't remember the name) has a test of a Seduce G6ET. It looks great with the 19s.

The F6 Arrives Today
I didn't think FPV were offering a sunroof option Where did you get it done? Is it fully retractable?

F6 Fans
Could it be thermal fans? I've had a few cars that switch their fans at random times after I've stopped.

Any Chance Of A Special Order?
You'd think that wouldn't you? But no, once again FPV shows what a confused company it is. The seats are much firmer and have much heftier bolstering. Why the F6 seats are so un-sports-like is beyond me.

Any Chance Of A Special Order?
Thanks for the quick responses guys. Not the answer I was hoping for. Appreciate the advice, but somebody else's manky old seats in a new $70k car don't really cut it. Call me crazy, but I would've thought good business practice would be for FPV to approve whatever the hell the customer wants.

Any Chance Of A Special Order?
I am very close to buying an FG F6. Took one for a spin last weekend and was blown away. However, while I found the seats comfy, they're hardly supportive enough given what this car is capable of. Question: Can I special order GT-P seats? Obviously I realise they're not a factory option, but I wouldn't have thought it'd be particularly difficult from the factory's point of view to fit them.

F6 Markii Ugly Rims
They're the hottest rims Ford/FPV have ever made <looking for the drool icon>

What Do You Think
I reckon it's awesome!! I'd love an XR6T but dont want the size or the fuel hassles associated, so this baby is right up my driveway. Hopefully will have one by the end of the year. P.S. Yes the lack of RWD is a concern....

Carsguide Phoon Review: 0-100 In 5.3
That's just FPV's claim. It's not an independent test result. That figure was also published in Drive when the BF Phoon was released back in October. The closest the mags have gone is 5.82s. The BA MKII Phoon managed 5.71s. Both times recorded by MOTOR mag.

F6 Weighs 100kg More Than Xr6t
According to my figures the BA MKII XR6T is 1672kg and the BA Typhoon is 1715kg. That would equate to 43kg. Figures are from Motor After the Typhoon clutch fix Motor starting stating the Typhoon's weight as 1776kg. So there are some discrepancies with the figures.

Whats The P On The Build #?
I actually think it stands for Pilot build. These are the first cars built in the initial production run.

Why Havent We Done This.
I understand what you're trying to achieve by 'rallying' for a cause but it would be at the expense of the Ford brand. Think about what a field day it would be for Expensive Daewoo from a publicity point of view. "Ford has thousands of unhappy customers" etc etc.... geez mate that would be the worst thing you could ever do. If you have issues you want dealt with write letters to significant people within the company, not by public acts of sulleying Ford's name. If you are a true Ford fan you might want to avoid creating negative publicity for Ford.

Typhoon 1/4 miles
... and here I was all excited about 0-100km/h in 5.21 and 0-400m in 13.03s as posted in another thread. Im pretty sure those times will be Clubsport times. Anyway I can hear the 'there's more to a good car than 0-100/0-400m times' debate starting already. Yes there is but for once wouldnt it be nice to actually have a car that's quicker than the competition, just once? If the 5.73/14.02 times are correct then that's just laughable. A MY03/04 WRX ($43k) will do 5.81/14.01s. Ford really do need to stop protecting the reputation of the GT, because in doing that they're holding the whole company's performance reputation back.
