    Bf Xr6t Rods

We now know that bfxr6t runs the heavier valve springs of the f6 (same part #) I was curious if they are also now running the f6 rods as well, does anyone know?
  2. If it's a bf turbo your ordering , be carefull the stability control has a specific tune for 17's and one for 18's
  3. I too have a bf xr6t auto ( for about 3 weeks now) still have my old ba xr6t auto and the improvement in nvh is very good , I was curious how your new BF XR6T compares in that regard to your BMW 330i.
  4. no as I said sct have that in the software but trans shifts and preasures are not yet! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are thanks for clarifing for me , I would be best of waiting till this is done , would you agree ?
  5. torque tags will be in the sct software its the trans shift and preasures etc that will take time unless they have now gotten into the vid block? even so the trans has its own computer that I am led to beleive only receives signals from the pcm hence I beleive it will be a separate hook up I'd say? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "It will be a separate hook up" does this mean that removing the torque tags (if they are still their)would not be part of the normal edit and dyno tune proces
  6. I'm looking at getting the edit done to my bf xr6t auto , I was wondering if the torque tags have been found on the new zf auto's as yet
  7. I can pretty much assure you the only difference is the f6 runs the gt rear springs . All shocks & sway bars are std xr6t as are the front springs
  8. picking up my bfxrt thursday , thinking of putting the caster/camber kit in . I,m wondering how many people really put them in and if they have noticed any difference

    Modding A Bf

Also forgot to ask, baf6 are their cams running independtly(supposedly are) if so would it be a simple matter of copying their maping for the xrt

    Modding A Bf

I'm about to order a bfxrt , but I'm still worried about how succesfull the edit will work with the new traction control system and the dsc ' could you please enlighten us on those 2 points martin
  11. Only problem is the bf xr's have a lighter coloured finish than ba , im hoping it's the same as fpv colour
  12. I'm about to order a new bfxr6t (with luxury pack) and have noticed the new xr's dont have these lids (look's terrible without) does anyone know if one can be fitted afterwoods ?
  13. I'm having problems finding the above (for my xr6t) at reasonable prices in sydney , if anyone could steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated thank's
  14. Makes you wonder if the luxury pack is std in the bf xr6t
  15. "Anyway, what was surprising was seeing how much extra power was made by lifting the top of the air filter up... a Manual I think PSI04L's, peaked at 201kw, and when the air box lid was lifted up made 206kw. A 5kW increase!!! I think in the end, with a pod filter it increased to 204kW?? I'm sure more will be said about this." This is very interesting. When the test was performed, was the air filter still attached to the upper half of the air box? In other words I'm trying to determine whether the 5 kw increase was due to the combination of a lack of an air filter and a restrictive air box or just the lack of a restrictive air box alone.
