  4. Anybody seen these yet ? Probly be good with an internal gated GTX35 to keep the stock stealth look...
  5. Yeah that car was full slick's Henz, I think fastest street VL is this car below, it's bowser E85, full exhaust but changed to slick's at the track... But for full 100% full street trim I think it's either Seres's brown car featured above or the yellow BT1 HWY which has ran a 9.5 on ET Street's, full exhaust on pump E85 I'm sure... Gas's car has ran 9.7 @ 140mph, but I think it was with full slick's and possibly exhaust dropped... Rajab's has gone 8.0 @ 165.96mph, single cam, Maatouk's who is the overall fastest is VL is 7.3 and has trapped 189mph... Fastest RB outright is Godzilla Motorsports R35, 6.8 @ 205mph....
  6. Barra Powered BA run's a 7, ran out of gearing at 1000ft mark, this car should push well into the 7's I would think...

    YES!! Can't wait to see what she'll pump out now, I'm just waiting for the New GTX47-88 to roll out, I'm told it should be out in September and bolt's up into my existing GT47-88 Exhaust Housing, so it will be an easy swap for me... Can't wait to see how much steam you can make now with this sucker... BTW, Love to see the old Factory Throttlebody doing the job compared to all the fancy and expensive item's on the market LOL!! XF or EL is it ?
  8. Hostility ?, Well that depend's if your coming the right way by Plane or via Indonesia LOL!! Just kidding mate, aslong as your not thin skinned and can cop abit of stirring and can dish it out aswell, it will be no different than hanging sh!t on your mate's at the local pub over there on any given weekend really... Here's a video of a guy from over your side of the world going for a drive in an XR6 Turbo, think he was abit shocked a big car could move along that well... As for ute's and $22k, I would probably go for a BF Tornado Ute or an FG XR6T Ute, but you may very well change your mind and want a sedan once you here unless your using it for work purposes aswell...

Hey mate welcome to the Forum, I just dug this up off Vicroad's website for you regarding your licence if you want to take a read... http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licences/NewToVictoria/OverseasDriversLicences.htm Ute's are very common over here and reasonably cheap, would all depend on what make or model your after and your price range, but rest assured there are pleeeennnnnnttttyyyyyyyy... Are you moving to live for good or are you just moving for a few year's for a lifestyle change for awhile... BTW If you in the car scene over there, Bring me over a complete Factory Windback Sunroof Roof cut for a 70 Model MK1 Capri LOL!!
  11. Comp car's get more run's cos they pay a substantial amount more... If there's 11-12sec car's on comp side it would be cos they want more run's so they've paid the higher fee...

Ah k fair enough, when I was looking I went straight to Neil's website, looked for Aussie distributor's but at the time there were none, was no mention of Al's etc on there so I just went with ProTran's... The glide I've got should do the job nicely, an equivellent Neil's will obviously do the same job just aswell, I'd just be a little concerned if it wasn't a Billet case if wanting to pump 1000+ rwhp as I dont see it lasting...

  15. I'd dare say if it's a stock Chev V8 case and not a Billet case like a Reid, Deadenbear etc etc, you will have problem's at around the 600-650rwkw range... I was going to get a Neil's Transmission but decided against it, cos if you have problem's with it you have to ship it to the other side of the planet to get repair's done and the wait would just be ridiculous and costly... ProTran's got nod for me, I chose a Pro Outlaw Severe Duty Glide and TCE is down here in Melbourne, so if I need it adjusted I'll take it there personally and get Dwayne to sort it out...
  16. What brand is the casing on the Transmission, look's like a 6cyl centre case ? Also who made the bell housing ? Look's like it's coming together nicely though...

Not necessarily, I had EXACT same problem with my car, raced it and the transbrake wasn't working, so I couldn't get stuff all boost off the line and was running 10.6-10.8 @ 145-147mph, took it home, fixed it all by the following meeting with nothing changed other than fixing the transbrake it went 9.4 @ 150, I reckon I could have possibly squeezed another 1-2mph if I could get it to leave the line without blowing the tyres off, track prep was not the best that day...
  19. Response from HPF: Johnny Farah's HPF built G6E finally made it to the track. It still has some issues as can be seen by the 2.2 sec 60 ft times (trans brake not working and some comms errors on the dash) but you cant take away the 144+ mph trap speed! Doing the maths, the standard car weighs 1740kg, add 90kg for the driver and at least an additional 50kg's worth of go faster bits = 1880kg's running 144 mph shows the engine making over 1020hp.

  21. Yes you are correct, they sell it by the Gallon, it's currently $3.42 a Gallon ( 4.54 litre's ) divided by four = 85.5c a litre there paying... That's for fuel, I'd assume there E85 etc would be cheaper again, and you can get all the way up to E100 at the pump over there I have heard...
  22. I just converted some of the Euro prices to Australian Dollar's and this is how some of the country's stack up... USA : 88c a liter Italy : 1.47c a liter Russia : 89c a liter Greece : 2.02c a liter Kuwait : 22c a liter Norway : 2.36c a liter Which is the highest of them all.. Lowest is Kuwait, and all the Arab country's which are all well under $1... Got me stuffed why America's is cheaper than our's when our dollar's worth more...
  23. A mate of mine just came back from Manila and took a pic of there current petrol prices to show me... Just show's how much we pay in fuel excise and other taxes...
