    Agreed! My dad's got a Calais V and my gf's dad has the SS-V and from my experience driving both of them a fair bit, I've found them to be a great car. Your experience wsa in the Omega... the lowest level VE, that could explain why it looked and felt so cheap. The only promblem I have, and I know it has been well documented... and that is the reduced vision due to the massive A-pillar. Other than that, I would rate them as a great car to drive.
