I was telling what I thought was an interesting event on the way home from work. I will choose my words a bit more carefully next time and try and tell the full story, but unfortunately there is a limit on how much I can post. I am not a regular poster but am a frequent visitor to the site, and it just sours the experience when I get flamed or whatever you call it when I post a story. OwnaXR6T, you are a regular poster and have at times found your content interesting and informational along with the other frequent posters. I believe a few other people have this problem, but unsure if they have created their own fix or not. A search on the forums may help you out. Good luck with a fix though.

Hi All, Coming home about 5pm on the Cunningham Hwy in Ipswich, and was cruising at 100km/h. I saw this red sh*tbox Late model camira VC/VK comming up behind me in the righ hand lane, so I moved over to the left as you do. Anyway, he shot past me at least doing 130-140km/h and I thought what a loon. Anyway around comes a slight corner and what you know a policeman on a motor cylcle was doing a mobile radar. Already pulled him over and had a yellow ticket book in his hand. Anyway, I said to myself, sucked in, servs you right!!! Anyway, it doesnt pay to speed.

I Paid 138 bucks for my 15k service at Metro in the Valley. I also had a problem with my AC which they fixed and its damn cold. They have been very kind to me and the service has been outstanding. See this thread here for details in relation to the AC ...

Looks the goods. Very tidy. Could the water hoses be re routed so they are not in the way. It just seems they are in the way of the full view of the bling bling. Apart form that, very impressed.

Yep I had it as well. eventually it went away after 12k and Hasnt been heard since. Mine was a aug 03 Build. Now done 20k

yer, she just cant get enough of it. If I need something from the shops, she wants to drive. she has been out twice today for some little erins. Ie needed breadrolls for lunch, and then before she says do you want a chocolate bar and off she goes again to the shops.

Hi All, This is the new addition to the family. I know its not a ford, but its the wifes car. Had a 1998 nissan pulsar and she wanted an upgrade so this is what she got. 2005 Honad Accord Euro. Great car to drive and damn is it quiet. Seats are comforatable, dash is impressive, performance is great. 140kw and has a little bit of pull. Great car.

Well pp, I have had the problem fixed. It was a module called the 'hym module' Not quite sure of spelling ie 'hym' or 'HIM'. My precious was in bits on Tuesday afternoon (centre console out, all I could see was this big gap in the middle of the dash, plastic bits and peices stacked in the back seat). Got the car back this afternoon all back together. Was worried about rattles etc, trim not lining up, but all seems good so far. Actually took some photos beofre it went in and have since compared them tonight and all is good. Will see how it goes over the next week to make sure there aint no rattles etc. Anyway the Air Con is freezing now, probably better than what it was originally. When I returned the curtosey car this morning, I gave a bottle of wine to the service advisor for assisting where possible, asked to speak with the tech working on my car to give him a 6 pack of hineken after realising how much work already has been involved rectifying the fault and a bottle of red to the curtosey bus driver who drove me to and from work for the last couple of days. I know I didnt have to do it, but was a gesture of appreciation for the good work they did for me. Have been absolutley happy with the service from Metro Ford in the valley. Keep up the good work Metro. Happy ending.....

Car is booked in for 2 days on the 8th of Feb. when I spoke to the foreman, he gave a good explaination why and seemed convincing, giving me reassuance that the dash will be just as good or better (in terms of tightness) from factory. I was going to put a carton of chewable XXXX on the front seat for the techs to share to make sure they did a good job (not that it may help but every little bit helps) I will take up your suggestion and see a air conditioning shop for a second opinion.... will let all know how it goes.

Well ppl, have had service guys look at the airconditioning problem, and the have to take the whole dash out to get to some motor (not the engine) or something behind the dash and replace it. I need it fixed, but also I dont want to have them pull the dash out as it leads to ratles, and things just are not right. There are none at the moment and have ben totally happy with my car. Any moral support?
