I'm so bad at drving cars I kill stock engines, at least if I had 350 at the wheels and did it going down the 1/4 at least it would have some class to it Mind you still not sure 100% on what it is untill I get the call from ford.

I will see what they say when I get the call from them, at this point its all I can really do.

Its going to be a long weekend of waiting to find out what is wrong with the car now. Won't get a call untill monday now

I hope they do but I guess I will jsut have to wait and see what they say, The first say of any problems was the first really good nightm I woke up to find ice on the window of my car that morning. I guess I will just have to keep my fingers crossed and wait and see what happens

Part2 of this story. Start the car up to go to work this morning check it out make sure no oil on the ground or anything oil light is not on and dipstick shows it as full. I let it warm up for a few mins the set off to work I drive maybe 1km up the road the oil light comes back on within 1000 meters the car stops dead with the battery light on. I call the racv ( it seems I have ford roadside assist that I did not know about untill I got to ford this morning) I tell him whats been happing he hooks a booster battery up gets me to start it. We hear some of noise coming from the engine he tells me to stop and says it could be a broken oil pump or a few other things engine is could be starting to seize up. Its been towed to ford and I will know sometime today or monday whats wrong with it its still in waranty so hope it will get sorted

Ok pretty much the oil pressure light is going on and off alot some times staying on for a few minutes but mostly flashing on and off, When I check the dipstick it shows it at a good level no noticble oil leaks. It started going this early this morning as I was on my way to work, I was thinking it may have been to do with how cold it was over night put some oil in this morning just to be on the safe side, drove the rest of the way to work with out any problems leaving work tonight its doing the same thing light going on and off and now it seems to be staying on for longer checked the oil again it still at the same level. You can also feel the car stutter a little bit under acceleration Any idea what may be causing or anything I should check or should I jsut take the car to ford or call the ravc if there is risk of something being damaged driving it. I just had the valve springs replaces would this have any affect on any of the above. Jim.

Anyone know how you adjuist the seatbelts so they wind back up abit faster. My drivers side seatbelt just does not wind up as fast anymore and once or twice I have cought it in the door and have chiped the paint on the door because of it.

Yeh then they pulled over that yellow ute doing 100 or so in a 70 zone. I was out cruising up the highway with a mate and as we where heading to sandown I saw a heap of xr heading the other way I pulled a u-turn and gvae chase ahh was a fun night
