I have the same prob as Zap and tried alll different ways to route the cable. I have even tried to isulate the wires and that failed as well. All I get is what sounds like alternator whine.

Try eibach springs, not sure if you can get them for the xr6t but on previous cars they were miles ahead of king springs and lovells for similar dollars.

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY....... yes I'm shouting so I hope you listen I got my car from city ford in Sydney and got the leather protection and paint protection. Dude dont waste your money it is a total waste of time. all they use is a can of scotchguard for the fabric/leather and the paint protection is useless. I have a black car and I know how to look after the paint work, spend the money on getting high quality car wash products, lambswool sponge, shamois and about 3-5 microfibre cloths for polishing and waxing.

mine has been adjusted and still only just holds if I pull it on real hard. I have to leave the ute in gear as insurance. Either there is a problem with the system or it is not getting adjusted properly.

This unichip is from a wrx and would probably be unsuitable. My unichip off my 99 rex could not be used on my xr6t. Might depend on the year model of the rex though, maybe the Aps guys can shed some light on the topic!

Trumpy you can only download Firefox now , firebird is the previous version which was better in my opinion. SO I Still Want 'FIREBIRD' if anyone has it , yes I am yelling I really want it. maybe I will try netcaptor thanks Andrew

I dont't mean to detract from the Aps stage 1 but you could also look at the xede ecu. With the unichip it is only able to be used for the falcon and therefore is limited in future applications. I had a unichip in my subaru and when it came time sell it I cold only get $450 for it as it can't be used in the T. The xede on the other hand can be re configured to suit other cars and therefore better in my opinion. Also the xede has several more benifits compared to the unichip. Just my opinion and not bagging the unichip it is a good product .

How so? Last time I heard APS wanted over $1000 to do injectors. 6 x 115 = 690 that leaves alot for labour. But I could be wrong

Great news Da Hulk :o Did you get the valve springs done at the same time? Have you still got the same exhaust, standard with modified centre muffler. I am currently looking at this kit any info would be great. thanks Andrew

OwnaXR6T have you got a dyno sheet you can post as I am interested in comparing power curves and not the the max power although it is also a great result.

I am interested in getting results from everyone who has done mods to the T post their dyno sheets to so I can compare the different kits on the market and how they make their power. So If you could post them with a description of the mods. There is alot of different topics scattered everywhere with peoples dyno sheets but it would be good to have them all at one place.

The pics just don't do the wheels justice, they look awesome in the flesh. Especially the rears, they have a nice wide polished outer rim As for the rest of the package I think the dyno results speak for themselves.

As far as I know it is illegal to get one in a ute as there will be no strength in the roof once they cut most of it out. don't quote me on this as I have not got any proof or even researched this but only speaking from memory.
