I was wondering if someone can reccomend a place to get a turbo rebuilt that has a good reputation. Preferably in NSW ( sydney - newcastle ) My turbo has died and I need to send it away for repair. Any help would be great as I have NFI who to send it to.

My Typhoon has recently been tuned and is constantly coming up with this error and going into limp mode. The tuner is uncontactable and I would like some advice as to the problem and is there a way of fixing it? Any help would be great.

Deffinately drag and slows the car down like your foot is on the brake. Extremely hard brake pedal at the same time. Appreciate the advice guys. The brake booster seems like a good place to start though. Still got me buggered why it only does it when they get hot. Fluid issues??

I have recently purchased a 2006 BF Typhoon. It has the Brembo brakes all round (standard) and aftermarket front rotors. The issue is that when the brakes warm up they seem to be dragging when you take your foot off the brake pedal. When driving slowly with no brakes on at all you can hear them slightly squeeling. I have had it back to Ford and they say they cant fault them. I am 100% sure there is an issue there. Where do I start since I cant get anyone else to fault it.

Lol. It was done on the dyno sorting out the launch controll. It was bound to happen. It didnt happen at TM Autosports. I dont want to name the place where it happened as its not their fault. These things happen.

Mine blew the tailshaft today on the dyno and its an auto only making 315kw. Im not sure that I want to pay over 2 grand for one. Is there a cheaper option for those guys with under 350kw?

Thanks heaps mate. It spent the whole day at Ford yesterday with them trying to figure it out. They thought they fixed it but they didnt. I have taken it back today and told them what u said. Hopefully that will be the prob.

I have been having issues with my T lately. When I am driving it sometimes goes into limp mode and the D on the dashboard strts flashing. The car stays stuck in gear and the only way to fix it is to stop the car and restart it. This problem has only occured since I fitted a Prestond built 4 speed to my car. It came out of my mates car and never gave him any hassles. Can anyone please help?

I was driving my car home from indoor cricket tonight when we came up to a set of traffic lights. I came to a stop and then took off as usuall. The car felt like it was stuck in top gear and it felt like the clutch was slipping. The D on the dash was flashing. I pulled over, turned the car completely off, restarted the engine and drove away. No more problems. Is this the start of another bigger problem?

I went in there with a mate of mine. They told me that since I had put an aftermarket turbo and intercooler on my XR6 turbo, they wouldnt ever be able to fit a trans cooler to it. At that stage my car was stock standard factory. Stock FMIC. After I tried to explain to him that Ford make factory turbo Falcons, he then told me I was full of sh*t and Ford never has or will make a turbo. Say no more.

I know the place at Lambton ( ATS I think ) is one to stay away from. Might be time to get a full rebuild done? maybe a prestons box? Is the car under warranty?

So what would this car be expecting to run without NOS? The reason I ask is because I am planning similar mods but without the gas. -
I think by CV he means drive shaft. The ting that goes into the centre of the diff and drives the wheels.
