Hi just wondering how I can figure out what engine kw my T has. Is there a simple calculation? My T has 287.2rwkw Ive heared people say that you loose 30% of your engine kw, but the numbers justt seem too high.

Hi I have a BFII XR6 Turbo Ute & I was wondering what quartermile times I could get with the power it produces. Vehicle Details It weighs around 1820 due to hard cover, 18s & system. the 18's have 445 tyres on them Six speed Manual 450x300x75 Monza M Spec Intercooler. SS Inducton & Typhoon lowerair box. K&N Pod Filter covered by original air box. Capa Flash tune - direct from Capa Ute pulled 270rwkw but was running dangerously lean due to universal tune in flasher These Mods are due to be done in a couple of days. 450cc Injectors 550hp Walbro Fuel Pump Custom Tune Was told to expect around 330rwkw I know the times would depend on alot of different little things, im just after an idea of what the ute can do. I had a problem with my ute leaking water, it was due to having a bluetooth kit installed by the dealership, they installed it near the bonnet release lever, the gromit wasn't big enough for both cables, so whenever it rained the tyres splashed water into the cabin. Hope this helps!

Also the actuator isn't allowing the turbo to hold more than 11psi if that's any help ESP assured me that it will hit around 330kw atw due to previous T's getting similar output with similar mods. They also told me that the BF T's have the Typhoon engine, is this true? I know its only the valves & conrods that are stronger.

The tuner is ESP Racing in the ACT, well Queanbeyan which is next to the ACT, im having some trouble with the tune at the moment, they cant get it over 287 atw, they cant figure out whats restricting it, the dyno chart is climbing very very well & then suddenly hits a brick wall & stays completely flat. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know!

Also what clutch can you guys recommend for a daily driver that is suitable to handle 330rwkw?

Thanks! I have another questions regarding the exhaust. I was about to get an exhaust installed, when I was talking to City Custom Exhaust Centre, I mentioned that I only wanted the exhaust for performance & not noise, he then advised me not to get an exhaust upgrade because they flow extremely well standard & not to bother with an exhaust until I reach upwards of 500rwkw, does this sound correct? im abit confused because he turned down moneywhere as the tunning shops are all saying yes change it you'll get big power gains just from the exhaust. It sounds like they are saying yes we want more money? Can anyone shed some light please.
