Hi guys

Well after 1.5 years of taking the car back to ford nearly every month, 6 tail shafts, 1 gearbox and 1 diff an awesome mechanic at Ford decided to think outside the square.

He investigated it. No really he did. :w00t2:

I always had the problem of when I lower the car it vibrates when accelerating especially when there is more then 2 people in it.

Well this guy took off my half shafts, which I told all the dealers to do, and found that my left CV was so stiff. apparently they are supposed to move a bit and mine did not want to. So he ordered a new one, arrived there same day (today), and now its like I just bought it. I hated my car till now. While he was there he also noticed that there was a slight vibration in the exhaust (the baffle was loose) so he replaced that too.

Today I am a happy man with a lowered car. So may other dealers wouldnt touch it due to it being lowered.

So to those that blame the springs first, get your CV's checked by having them pulled out not just a quick glace and "yep there ok mate".

One happy man here.

Adrian

Great stuff. I had a bit of a battle with ford for a while over a bad vibration. They re balanced the tailshaft so many times it just wasnt funny. I ended up getting a new diff and its all fixed.

Now that new diff is knackered. I just want 10000k's where nothing goes wrong.

And you'll probably ask for him to do all the work on your car from now on.... :stirthepot:

I am mate although ever since they replaced my diff I now have a vibration at 110kmph.

I am not always up there at that speed so it doesnt bother me too much so ill just bring it up next time I am in.

Good stuff Adrian, hope she'll make you happy now

Tough one might think that a good vibrator would turn you on :spoton:  :stirthepot:

Mate I am so happy now I am starting to think of mods.

I used to charge people for rides but since the vibrations gone I broke.
