Actually, what I'm doing at the moment is a short wheel base series 2 jag, I got 3 of em for $1200 and I only bought them for the seats in the swb... Options are pretty open here, keep the 4,2 six and put it all back to standard, ya get IRS disk brakes, climate air, elec windows or lump it... generally people put in some variant of the 350 chev....been done heaps of times and for me..well...Yawn.... Now, What I'm thinking would be good is a nice barra t motor with auto, strip it and it'd make an OK track day car, that I wouldn't get terribly upset about planting into a wall... Jags are actually good project cars atm...they're cheaper than 70's fords / holdens atm and parts are readily available and surprisingly cheap.
