Speedometer Cutting Out on BF MKII XR6 Turbo

Hi All,

 

After changing the coilpack and spark plugs and I can confirm that my issue has now been fixed, and the car is also running better and the power delivery is also smoother.

 

I hope that this thread can help someone else out in the future if they experience a similar problem.

Thanks for reporting back, it may help someone else later on.

 

I think I have seen that reported somewhere else, but it was so long ago I was not sure I remembered correctly, or how accurate it might have been.

 

All I can think of for how this would work is that a dodgy coil might be creating some sort of feedback into the wiring that freaks the ECU out.
