Hi All,

Just about finishing up on my new build and I currently only have a 3 bar map sensor, looking to upgrade to a 4 bar (https://www.efisolutions.com.au/bosch-pressure-sensor-4.0-bar-intercooler-pipe-loc), however am wondering if I will also need to upgrade my boost sensor pre throttle body also?

That link is to the boost sensor. If you want to use that you can but you will need PCMTec to be able to utilize it. You don't need to upgrade the TMAP.

Woops I sent the wrong one, https://www.efisolutions.com.au/bosch-pressure-temp-map-sensor-tmap-4.0-bar-sensor. This was the Tmap I was going to get. I am running a haltech PNP in the car now so not sure if I will need to upgrade both or if doing one is sufficient.

I'm not sure if you need to do both or just one or the other. I know you can get away with doing one or the other with the stock pcm, providing you tune it to suit. I would send an email to Haltech and see what they come up with. If you do can you post an update here?

My tuner just got back to me and turns out I will only need the 5bar tmap and can repurpose the boost sensor input.
