T51r Mod

Hey everyone,

 

One of my mates recently upgraded his turbo from his stock fg turbo, which had a t51r mod on it. He upgraded because the compressor wheel broke. He has offered to sell me the housing in order to get the t51r mod and I was wondering if this was a good idea? 

I was also wondering if this would be a hard process for me to do myself.

If you're paying for it to get done, it's easy doing it yourself is time consuming and difficult especially if you don't have the right tools, but if you're reasonably competent with swinging spanners, it should be do-able yourself.
