Adam Here since the start... Legacy Donating Member 10,282 Member For: 23y 5m 4d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 10/03/04 10:27 PM Posted 10/03/04 10:27 PM Its amazing. All the TSB bulletins are available on a certain Internet site (which im not able to disclose, you need a user name and password anyway), this site has all of the current TSB's available, and Ford's recommended fix, at the click of a mouse...... Yeah, that is a very informative site from what I've seen. Makes you wonder why the mechanics don't just jump on there and search for a TSB relating to the problem they're having.

Trumpy What's happening? Yep, the one and only time it has happened in 45000km. Didnt actually bring it up with the dealer, as it hasnt happened again.

FORDTECH Member 383 Member For: 23y 4m Location: On the edge Posted 11/03/04 10:20 AM Posted 11/03/04 10:20 AM It does Trumpy, but the TSB is only released because it is a known concern on certain vehicles. It informs the dealership service advisors so that if they have a customer complaint then they already know of whats involved to fix it.It doesnt neccessarily mean that all vehicles built in that period will be faulty. It's the same old saying,"If it aint broke don't f... with it".My biggest anoyance is when the service advisors blatantly lie to the customers by saying sh*t like"Na,never had any do that before".TELL THE TRUTH!! The customers will respect you more if you dont jerk them around.
Guest Scootre Guests Posted 11/03/04 10:50 AM Posted 11/03/04 10:50 AM Can't agree more.My dealer's service manager is straight up with everything. As a result, I'd buy another car from them without hesitation. On the other hand, my first call to 13Ford to add my name to the list of others complaining about the stalling issue was met with a... "what do you mean it stalls?" and "we know nothing about any fixes for a stalling issue".
