Guest P'cisT Guests Posted 04/03/04 12:15 PM Share Posted 04/03/04 12:15 PM This would be friggen great. Updating firmware/software seems workable to me. Hopefully that's what it is... Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 2m 17d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 06/03/04 10:17 AM Share Posted 06/03/04 10:17 AM Thanks. Please let the techies/management know that if it is just a code upgrade to the current ICC, us BA1 owners EXPECT ford to provide a upgrate option for us paid or free...pleaseThe MP3 option was one of the main disapointments that I had with the XR6T as I have had MP3 head unit for over 3 years and have become used to this feature. Thanks Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9440-mp3-factory/page/2/#findComment-98280 Share on other sites
Guest P'cisT Guests Posted 06/03/04 02:29 PM Share Posted 06/03/04 02:29 PM Yep, what Zap said.A downloadable patch/software that can be chuck onto CD and isntalled would be nice and easy Might not be a stock feature though (ie you have to pay for it) like the new Hondas, Mazdas ,etcI wouldn't mind paying either as this I was have brought this feature from the start. HellionXR6T I'm Back!! Thats right, long over due! :) Lifetime Members 4,348 Member For: 22y 5m 27d Gender: Male Location: West Brisbane Posted 17/05/04 10:03 PM Share Posted 17/05/04 10:03 PM Oh yeah. Something I'd be definatley interested in, along with 90% of us.LOL, just tried inserting a MP3 disk in the N/A's Prem. Sound, just to see what happens. Won't recognise the individual tracks. Tries to play Track 1 and seconds are ticking away but that's about it. Do you think it would only be a software/firmware upgrade? Sounds like it would need more.........Might be wrong.
