Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldnt find any leads on it. I have an xr6 turbo motor and 6sp manual complete for transplant into a BF wagon and I was just wondering if there's a way I can tell if it is a BAII or a BF motor? Motor and box came out of the same car but im not sure which one. Is there engine numbers that I can check or a build date or something? cheers

The number is on the exhaust side near the bellhousing connection.

BF has two, one at the front and the back!

Was the ba mkII motor any different to the mk1 or did they only change the build and quality in the BF's?
