So recently I replced my spark plugs tube seals around 3 weeks ago.

I had a missfire again on idle(ready to burn the ****) just removed first 2 plugs and oil covered them both rest were fine. Pulled rocker cover off cant see anything out of unusual I used aftermarket tube seals hoping that's not the problem maybe I need to buy ford ones.

 

Car doesnt misfire on driving just idle.

 

Ps this was with in 2 weeks of changing them.

I hope its not an engine problem

Are you sure it's not the vct seals leaking? I had the same issue and it was those not the spark tube seals.

Hey mate thankyou for replying ive got them on fairly tight I did think that, I was worried about like bad oil control rings im not a mechanic but I know a bit. The bolts were undone and loose when I checked, id like to rule out no engine failure

I'd clean it all up, put it back together and go for a quick drive around the block and see if it starts leaking again

I think u hit the nail on the head though
