Does anyone know if FPV are making their turbo in a ute or just a sedan?

BUT, it will still have the same problem with bang for your buck that the sedan has...ie you can spend a few thou on an aftermarket engine upgrade and get better output. I see the Typhoon as nothing more than a show special and can't really see a market for it. Just one man's opinion ... er, um, OLD man's opinion then

I would have to disagree and say that there would be a market for the Typhoon, simply because of how many people want to get more power, but are scared of making mods because of warranty issues. No such worries if one gets the extra power by buying a Typhoon.

This is a little off topic but I think the only reason the HSV XU6 and monaro CV6 failed is because they werent powerful enough. If they make a turbo 6 falcon ap[pealing enough to be a real sports car it will sell.

You would have to think that anyone who has, or has considered a Phase 1 upgrade from any of the modifiers would be a potential buyer. I'd reckon there's been a few of them sold!

And when you consider that a Typhoon ute would probably be around the same price as a standard sedan(within a couple of $k), there would be people who could be certainly swayed towards one.

It's funny that the Pursuit never got big sales - hope the Typhoon does a whole lot better ... if it happens ...

also there is a chance that the typhoon will have a stronger 6speed box :smilielol::thumbsup: which will wet the appetite for the performance buyers and existing 6t owners to upgrade..
