will 265+45=18 ET street radial tyres ok on ford wheels

Or would 245+45 fit better ,for the drags ,on a street car, any opinions on which would be better. thanks

since 275-40-17 et streets fit on the stock BA/BF XR6 17x8 rims, so I'd think that 265-45-18 would fit on the 18x8 ford rims. I'm no tyre expert, though :)
