Dsc Fault

Yea I did. The brake swith fixed that too only been few days though. But before that I had random dsc and abs lights sometimes straight away and other times it won't come on the whole drive but cruise control won't work.

Random warning that make no sense and just go away are often signs of a dying battery. I had one on the way out and now and again I would get random faults, dsc, rss, headlamp were the most common. When it finally died, you would turn the ignition on and pretty much everything would go into fault at once.

New battery and haven't had an issue since. The only code I had, which only showed with forscan was from the abs module, "battery voltage out of range"

It seems once the float drops below a certain level modules start chucking the sh*ts.

Hey mate have the standard 19 inch factory Argents and yea I wouldn't be surprised if the battery is on it's way out it's a mid 2010 build still on it's original battery

I've replaced the battery 2 weeks ago thinking the same thing but it kept going on. Replaced switch and it fixed it. But could be steering wheel angle sensor needs resetting too a lot of variables for different condition never just one.

My battery is all sweet been tested and gets plugged into a float charge.

I've got 20" rims on since it started so can exclude those now.

sorry to dig up an old post. I'm having this issue on my mkII FG xr6T. On normal driving it never comes up, but when I floor it and go past full boost, most of the time (not all) it will trigger the DSC error and traction control will be off. Turn the car off and when I turn it back on, DSC error is gone again. Anyone know the cause?
