Sounds like a wire has been pinched or chaffed through its insulation causing a short.Could also be in the clockspring ( the bundle of wires that connects the steering wheel stereo/airbag/horn to the body wiring. Are there any warning lights on the dash?If not, start at the front and work back checking the insulation.
boost69 Legacy Donating Member 737 Member For: 21y 4m 4d Posted 29/10/14 04:39 AM Posted 29/10/14 04:39 AM You're definitley shorting on the horns.Take the front grill off, and make sure the flat pins that the wires plug over, are not touching either the body of the car, or the bracket that holds the twin horns.I would even go as far as wrapping masking tape over the connectors. (once youve plugged in the wires) 1
