Using Xr6T Ute For Towing Purposes With Aftermarket Suspension

Hi everyone

Couldn't see a thread with anyone putting insight if theres anyone out there with kingspring suspension that tows anything heavy,

im looking at king spring setup and the rear im looking at particularly is the ultralows which is 303SSL leaf setup and wondering if anyone tows with it ?

I'm planning on just hiring trailers and putting a 900kg odd track car on it to the track and back seeing if anyone has a similar setup and if they have had any issues.

If you have that much towbar weight from the trailer then there is something wrong with the trailer setup. I tow a bit of weight every now and then with it lowered and its fine.

Mine dragged its bum with a load of tools and spares whilst towing.

Comparing apples with oranges here, but I towed a 1200kg caravan around Australia with my old au falcon on ssl king springs. The stiffer springs made it handle the weight much better than the standard setup.

I run poly air springs airbags in my bf f6. run the hoses so the ends are behind the fuel door and pump them up when needed. (not at a servo, those auto things flow to much air.)

That is with stock suspension, but a full tray. Tyres, tools and what not.

Was moving stuff to my new place today, forgot to get a photo. But had the tray 2/3 full of bricks and a fully loaded trailer on. Still gets along fine.

Only issue with it being lower is with the brick weight the exhaust tips were a lot closer to the bumper than normal from the thing sacking down and due to the trailer as well it was just short of 0psi even while cruising and I may have melted some exhaust tip shapes in the bumper cut out.
