Dont think you can tell the difference by a visual inspection of the outside case.

97LE is the v8 box.

93LE is used for all I6 engines according to the Ford BA falcon workshop manual (used by the ford) but the ford book does not state the differences between turbo and n/a.

Bayford transmissions told me that the differences are in the bands, torque converter and a couple of other small things. Other than that they are identical to the n/a six boxes.

I tok would like to know if there are any other diffeences between turbo and n/a

you can tell by the numbers on the side. I cant remeber the turbo numbers I think non turbo has AB in the number.

however as said there really aint a great deal that's different. im running a N/A box with turbo converter and its been all good for almost 2 year now
