Need Help With Ecu Numbers For A Ba Xr6T

Hi I'm having issues with a mechanic putting in a replacement second hand ECU for my 02 BA XR6T

Apologies for the somewhat vague details as I'm Overseas at the moment and can't access the car myself so I'm getting info through an unhappy wife.

The old (faulty) Part had a ECU part number ending in D Which had been overwritten with a E apparently as part of a ford software upgrade.

Anyway the replacement part has a part number ending in C

The car runs. but the wife is saying it doesn't feel right.

The mechanic.. well let's just say I'm looking for answers from someone who know what they're talking about.

Can anyone provide a definitive answer on what ECU part numbers are appropriate for a BA XR6T please?

A3HD is the latest BA XR6 Turbo catch word you should have if you have a AUTO.
