Nothing cools better then straight water, and coolant is not very good at transferring heat. If your using premix I wouldn't worry about it.^^WHSIt's all about getting the right consistency. It's designed to stop water corrosion within the engine / radiator and boiling in extreme conditions but doesn't work as well as water from a cooling/flow POV as it is a thicker fluid.
