January 15, 200422 yr #1 Someone please HELP I am going to get a performance chip for my turbo.I have spoken to Aps, Chip Torque,Redcliff Dyno, and now I have no idea who to go to.
January 15, 200422 yr #2 Speaking from someone who has had ample experience with uni-chip if I were to buy one I would be going back to APS again.CNJ at springwood (as your in QLD) would be where I would be shopping.Talk to Bill n Kel, they are not the most socially inclined people but they can tune the sh*ttiness out of a commondore (and that's saying something) the uni-chip is also a better product as it has no need for a external boost controller, which the xede does, which equates to more $$$ cheers,Matt Edited January 15, 200422 yr by richdave

January 16, 200422 yr #4 Someone please HELP I am going to get a performance chip for my turbo.I have spoken to Aps, Chip Torque,Redcliff Dyno, and now I have no idea who to go to.IEACH, Speak to the guys at Cand J Motorsport, I would back their tuning knowledge and the UNICHIP against any other tuner in Australia. These guys are the absolute master's in the art of engine tuning, I kid you notPeterAPS
January 16, 200422 yr #5 Someone please HELP I am going to get a performance chip for my turbo.I have spoken to Aps, Chip Torque,Redcliff Dyno, and now I have no idea who to go to. I have a unichip which is excellent, but if your in QLD don't discard Lachlan Riddell at Chiptorque on the Gold Coast. He got a VL going like an exocet missile for me once, and also put 30kW into a VS SS which I had the dubious pleasure of owning once. If I still lived in QLD it would have been no contest. Those guys also really know their stuff. Excede or Unichip, you can't go wrong if you get a good tuner. Enjoy the rush
January 16, 200422 yr #6 Am I right in saying the chip is only as good as the installer and the tuner?
January 16, 200422 yr #8 Am I right in saying the chip is only as good as the installer and the tuner? I think the chips are all good but as the old saying goes "A workman is only as good as his knowledge" the installer and tuner definately make a difference. If you live on the Gold Coast, go and see Chiptorque, you won't be dissapointed, but your T will go faster

January 17, 200422 yr #10 Someone please HELP I am going to get a performance chip for my turbo.I have spoken to Aps, Chip Torque,Redcliff Dyno, and now I have no idea who to go to.If your prepared to wait another 5 weeks or so we will have the plug in loom available, no need to cut or solder any wires a straight plug in deal has many advantage's. The car can be returned to stock leaving no tell tale signs of the installation.PeterAPS
