Just wondering if anyone has tried the 0.7 with the factory 1.06 rear housing with standard core?. (Bearings have been replaced). I have closed off the factory wastegate and put external wastegate. Due to the fact I had boost issues and got sick of the boost spikes. 50mm synapse wastegate and I've also bought a new snort performance tunned length manifold!

Just wondering If anyone else has this type of set up and know roughly when It will spools up and etc? I have got everything currently being ceramic coated so I can't wait for Dyno day again lol

Back in the day lots of people went the 0.7 bolt on and in a general it can pick up a extra 30rwkw on same-ish boost levels ( talking around the 350kw mark here ) but a tiny bit more lag

Fair enough appreciate the reply, the reason why I ask haven't seen much with 0.7 stuff with aftermarket manifold with Dyno read outs so just wondering if there will be much gains which is showing there is bit of gain.

The manifold will over shadow any gain you get from the bigger cover. If you have the option run it up with the stock cover first.

Also Luke, didn't you and toads test your .7 vs .5 back to back your the .7 out spooled the .5?

The power figures quoted by j@t for improvements with the .07 cover are stock for stock. Im saying the stock .05 cover on the tuned length manifold will make as much power as a .07 on a stock manifold.

All true

ETM -leigh said that his manifolds would gain 11% in power for a direct changeover

So u can see how your new figures would be hard to work out exactly where the gain is
