I suppose it will save you some cash. I've owned it for 6 months and have used it 3 times. Or if you like you could always bye one from American Auto Parts for $369. got a URL for them? Is that the Pro Competition Model? the new one.. and is that in US Dollars? I have tried it in my 1971 V8 falcon and pulled a 12.6. I haven't actually run the car down the quarter though my machanic did say the new engine would pull a mid to high 12.The meter works well, but it only likes runs on a very straight roads. The other main factor is that you have to enter the weight of the car and anything else in it to get a acurate reading. After each run you have to set it up again and again which is a bit frustrating.
