Hi Guys, my xr6t ute had a boost controller inline, I got it removed a while ago and the guy put in a t-piece, but it was open to atmosphere and seemed to be working.

It is in the shop today getting work done as the other guy pretty much near on destoryed it.

Everything is peachey, except when he replaced the hose to the turbo, it has lost ALL BOOST.

The mechanic is going to look into it, but if I could get an answer to hepl him out first, would be great.

Thanks guys

I'd take it to a workshop that specialises in these cars, what area are you in?

There is an electronic boost controller as standard fitment on these cars - it is controlled when the car is tuned. There is no real reason to remove it in the first place

I would strongly suggest seeing someone that can sort the car out so it runs properly

If its modded, then it's gonna end up the same if not worse if you return the tune back to standard. What mods?

As P@@ suggest take a drive down the freeway to Melbourne and get it done right

and get it tuned properly as well

that's just it, there aren't any mods to it, I had a guy look at it late last year who said he "tuned" it.

all I can see he did was remove the manuial boost controller which was there already and screw everything else up lol.

so no actual hardware mods.
