Brake Upgrade

hi guys I am looking at upgrading the brakes on my fg mk2 I was wondering what you guys have tried out on your mk1's

if you could share what brand and sizes you put on your car,

as well as a rough idea of how much you spent for the brakes

I am looking at some decent size callipers and rotors to really pull my car up

I want to do my brakes before I go to crazy on the mods as I am not to fond of the standard brakes

If you want real stopping power then I'd suggest Harrop, next step down would be 6 piston brembos as standard on the GT-P. Have a talk with Matt from Racebrakes, he will have lots of good info and prices for you.

I installed 4000 series rotors and Ferodo DS pads to my FG Turbo and they performed very well for spirited street use and at Wakfield Park but if you want the best then big rotors and calipers are the go.
