I had some Polk Comps and 2ways installed yesterday with a pioneer gr8500m sub amp. First thing I noticed is a buzzing noise at low volume. Obviously can't be heard once past a certain volume. I'm wondering what causes this or just take it back to the install place. It's constant even in reverse when the sound is muted. Cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82842-buzzing-noise-after-speaker-install/ Share on other sites

But yeah - that sort of stuff should have been well sorted out before you got it back. The sub has a built in line converter to get signal. From what I can tell the sub is clean. I'll have a listen on lunch break to see if it's noisy also. But definite noise from the speakers. I'm going to try organise to take it back. They'll try sell me a noise filter no doubt. I had to put a high end sound processor in mine to get rid of the noise. There is still a faint noise there now, but the money it costs to fix it has outweighed the annoyance it gives me everyday Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82842-buzzing-noise-after-speaker-install/#findComment-1324963 Share on other sites

That will definately give you noise.
