Especially great in the winter for making prusut (known as prushuto to most).

It's spelled Prsut

Mick, I like canberra as there arn't any shootings around my house, not many people of "middle eastern appearance" that you seem to hear in the news all the time.

Weather is good, I like extremes, cold and hot. Either way we got aircon and gas :D

As for fun? Are you kidding me? Snowies only 1.5 hours away, Clyde Mnt 1 hour away.

Wakefield park is only 1 hour away, f*ck even Sydney is only 1.5 - 2 hours away

How could I forget Sinsations, 15 mins away :D Pity it's only open from Wednesday though...

Agree with Ducatti on the Tamut Cruise Mick you bas*ard!!! :P

Thanks for everyones help.

I'm getting ACTEWAGL for power, gas and water. Telstra for phone and still thinking about Foxtel Satellite.

The amount of money this move is costing me might stop me from getting paytv for a while...Petrol for Gadan is more important

Oh and Internet I'm going for IINET ADSL, hopefully Telstra will alow me to get it. Thanks for the dial up tip Falc, I'll need it for a month or so before DSL get's installed.

I'm still stuck on 56k... Brand new house in a new suburb with a fibre optic cable running through my front yard, but do you think I'm hooked up to it, no way, that would be too ease... Telstra say 1-2 years before they are going to do anything about it. Well bugger them, I'm moving to perth. Lets see what they think about that.

I'm lucky if I get 28.8k when I connect. They have fibre to the curb here aswell. Then the pair gain crap to the house, using ISDN to provide normal telephony services and normal telephony prices. But if you want ISDN (no real need to modify anything on their end) we'd still get charged the crazy overpriced prices for data services using ISDN. Oh well. They are actually recabling my suburb atm, in preperation for minimux I would suspect. I hope I can get ADSL soon, then get away from the 3rd world quality we currently have.

Telstra Bigpond ISDN is now a similar price to adsl.

They droped the prices a while back so you dont get charged the huge per minute charges.

Something like $110 a month for 1gig plan with unlimited time on line and no connection charges.

I have had it for a while as I could not het ADSL or fibre.

128k is a lot better than dial up.
