The amount of money that some of these guys are charging to install a surge tank is just a rip off...don't get me wrong, I'm sure they make an excellent product (and I know they do because I use them), but there are cheaper options that will work just as well if not better, and you'll have money left in your pocket for other things...like fuel lol Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82590-ba-bf-surge-tanks/page/2/#findComment-1316221 Share on other sites

The KPM BA intank unit is $895 and comes with everything you need to install it yourself, so yes, perhaps the PW and Plaz units are expensive, however they are still selling.... 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82590-ba-bf-surge-tanks/page/2/#findComment-1316230 Share on other sites

If I had all the money in the world I would use companies like KPM and Process West all the time but I can still get a surge tank and install it for $600, plus I get the satisfaction of knowing that I've done it myself...each to their own but it's nice to know there are alternative ways of doing things without having to fork out stupid amounts of money to people who are only in it for profit... So why would I give my profit to someone else? I don't know what point you're trying to make...
