Hi all,

I think this question has been asked before but not the same way..

I took my fg xr6 turbo in for a tune and it was laggy and struggling to make over 12 psi. I have a rapid v1.0 kit fitted, 60lb injectors and hi-flow cat.

I am quite sure that cat or actuator is shagged so I have decided to do the flapper mod, 12psi actuator and change my intake the battery side rapid kit.

With these mods will I be restricted if I just replace my cat with another 100cpi cat??

Will I gain much from upgrading to a 4inch dump and cat combo?

I don't want a full exhaust or lag...

Thanks again

The dump will help it come on boost quicker and make more boost also.

I am pretty sure it's a shagged cat but I am not sure if its worth going a 4 inch over straight replacement cat since I have a stock cat back exhaust

For the price buy a Cat only mate, the small turbo is the restriction...

Also you dont have a leak in the intake system somewhere do you?

No the intake system was smoke tested an was all fine. So it's exhaust side. Yeh can get a magnaflow cat for $150 and $150 to install but dump and cat will cost $1100 think I might leave it. Ill be happy with anything over 300. I just want it to come on fast..
