Disconnect as shown and use a small bolt to plug up the hose, use a bolt that is a little bit thicker than the inside diameter of the hose for a good seal. You can zip tie the hose so the bolt stays in there if you wish.Benny.

I reckon an aftermarket exhaust would sound better though. This will certainly do for now. 1
