Fg Mk11 Icc Bugs ?

Hi All

I have had my FG for a couple weeks now and loving it but found at least one annoying bug with the ICC

1. I have the ford ipod cable and if I plug in my iphone after bluetooth connects all is great an can access via ipod setting and browse folders etc

but if I leave it plugged in and turn car off then back on such as getting fuel it works off ipod for a few seconds then when shows on screen connecting via bluetooth no audio is heard through ipod setting, you can see it counting down on time of song but no audio. if you switch to bluetooth audio that will work fine just not via cable

ungplug cable and plug it back in and all works again

2. No caller id when phone rings or when call connects but can browse contacts fine

3. It has happened twice and not sure on trigger yet but the screen turns itself off and acts like the screen off function is set ie shows for few seconds with volume etc. holding power function resets it and screen returns just like it should toggle the screen on/ off setting via power button

It will be going in for its 3000K initial checkup in the next week or so and will get Ford to check it out but often in the past have found some of their tech's need pointing in right direction, has anyone else seen these issues ??

There is a firmware update available but your dealer will need to confer with sumitomo before they touch it, make sure u demonstrate the issues to the foreman (not the advisor or service manager)

Also ensure your iphone is fully upgraded to IOS 5.1.1 minimum

I-phone is on latest versions

the ipod cable issue is easy to show as is the caller id

the random screen off one I dont know the trigger yet to impossible to reproduce on demand

I would have thought being a new car should have the latest ICC software on it :(

I have issue numbers 1 and 2 and mine is a June 2012 build. I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 6 Beta 4 and it's no different to the latest stable iOS.

My dealer wants to take it for a day and I've said that's not acceptable. I'm ringing them on Monday to tell them I'll be bringing the car in first thing (7am) and if its not fixed by 8:30am I'll be taking a loan car at their expense till its resolved. The issues existed since day 0 and my mate with an SV6 had issues that took months to resolve with his ICC and I refuse to repeat his experience.

Lol good luck with that.... Techs dont normally start til 8 anyway at most places. June 2012 wont have the new firmware I believe and the update takes over an hour. Why is it unacceptable to leave it with them for a day? At least then they arent rushing trying to accomodate u Giving them an unrealistic time frame. Give them a chance mate before you go in and make a fool of yourself.
