Fg Mkii 19" Rims

Hi gents, wondering if someone could tell me if the 19" rims on the XR6T luxury pack have a name or model number given to them by ford?

I smashed a pothole of the goat track called the Bruce Hwy and have stuffed 2 of them plus tyres. Insurance is going to cover the replacement which is great, but I was wondering if places like Bob Jane etc can source this rim from Ford?

If insurance is paying why not just go directly through spare parts at your local Ford dealer?

Well I was hoping to change all 4 of them at the same time to Black Icon Zest's at no cost to me, except for my excess of course.

I think you should get a quote from Ford for the genuine replacement wheels and tyres, then get a quote from the wheel and tyre retailer for the wheels and tyres you want, then call your insurance company and see whether they will pay for the new combo, or part thereof, instead of buying you two new replacement genuine rims and tyres.

^^ this. By going through Ford spare parts they won't be cheap at all and I guarantee a new set will be cheaper so they may be happy to let you go after market. But they will probably wan't your 2 old rims (the 2 non-damaged ones)

Well new rims and tyres been fitted Wednesday, ended up going for Versus Eurolace, 19x8, will post a pic when they are fitted..

Stupid me, they haven't 'been' fitted, they are 'being' fitted...

Well 2 of them have damage, 1 more so then the other, I was going to keep 1 damaged one for a spare and see if I can sell the others, 3 tyres have 15,500km on them.
