Throttle postition sensor if that's the case! Mine did the same thing. If I reved it before selecting a gear the problem would arise! Replaced the tps and never had the problem again.

I have just ordered my self a new tps so once installed I shall let you no how it goes!

Expensive buggers! And when removing the old screws don't stop undoing the screws untill there out because if not done in one movement there likely to snap as there loctited in from factory. Easiest way is with a drill.

Iv also had faulty boost pressure sensor cause this

ok so I got my new tps today installed it no dramas and then I went to start the car and now the the problem is worse lol. if I turn the key untill all the display lights come one ( oil petrol seat belt ect) I can see the valve in the throttle body move a bit and then hear a ticking noise that sounds like its coming from my fuse box ( on the left hand side of the car) thankfully I still have the old tps so if I feel the need to drive it I can but yeh just not sure what the go is with it

Knew that was gona happen.... TPS wont fix everything that goes wrong with a falcon, unbeknownst to some...

Get it on a scanner or to someone with the skills to diagnose it properly, youl save coin in the long run

Ticking noise is probably boost solenoid.

Nah man all good just sucks for the op wished he's fix was that easy :/
