    my advice is take the bumper off and take it off, you might be able to do it with the bumper when your fingers will be cut to sh1t after and it will make the job more complicated than it needs to be.

    You have to take the front bar off, regardless of BA/BF/FG.

    Just take the bar off, takes only 10 mins if that and you'll do it 3 mins once you've done it a couple of times...
