May 9, 201214 yr #1 Was looking at this site (http://www.greenslip...comparison.html) about Green Slips. Overall it looks like GIO covers more categories of severe damage to the body from accidents. Then I realised this is to cover the other party. So does this mean if you cause an accident and the other pary loses a hand they'll only be covered if you're with GIO? Is that how it works?
May 9, 201214 yr #2 Green slips are for 3rd party injury only. If you are at fault, you will not get anything unless you have either private coverage or the green slip includes at fault coverage, which some do.
March 4, 201412 yr #3 Digging up an old thread but the only one relavent that came up in a search. What are people paying for Green Slips in NSW. I realise it will depend on driver and location of car etc but I am wondering if a common company comes up as cheapest. I have a 2013 FG MKII XR6T and it's my first time regoing it since the dealer took care of it all last year. Where are people getting the cheapest?? I looked on the greenlsips.nsw.gov or whatever site it is, it was advertised with the rego papers, and QBE came in as the lowest. The list included most of the major insurance companies.
