You can get an auto in the GT-P as an no-cost option. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/800-gt-gt-p/#findComment-22455 Share on other sites

Means only a factory upgrade to make it handle the mods. But being hooked to the V8 I doubt it. Well can only dream I guess. (is it my age?)The boost range, change points and shift speeds all add up to a seamless onward charge.Haven't seen any comparative figures (Auto vs Manual) in any of the auto mags.Does anyone have an idea?Mackthe. A heavy duty low stall convertor is used to improve take off and reduce loading. The XR6T and base model BA's share the same 93LE transmission. Will be interesting to see how Ninka & Dynosteve go with there boxes. A manual gearbox is only needed if you've got no grunt, once you have grunt there only good for busting parts in your driveline when you get overexcited.Scotty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/800-gt-gt-p/#findComment-25658 Share on other sites
