Cost being any consequences in the future. Like engine go boom boom Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/79974-capa-ford-flash-2/#findComment-1230202 Share on other sites

The old saying about not touching things you don't understand really applies here...You need to go and get a custom tune and the tuner will know how to change all that stuff. ratter Member 6,793 Member For: 19y 16d Gender: Male Location: @ my laptop Posted 01/05/12 10:53 AM Share Posted 01/05/12 10:53 AM It's not locked out, but any car that has ZF will have a tune file that the Xcal 2 can not work with, so basically any BF/FG auto will not be able to use a flash 2 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/79974-capa-ford-flash-2/#findComment-1230215 Share on other sites
ratter Member 6,793 Member For: 19y 16d Gender: Male Location: @ my laptop Posted 01/05/12 10:56 AM Share Posted 01/05/12 10:56 AM You need to go and get a custom tune and the tuner will know how to change all that stuff.except they can not use the Xcal 2, actually there may still be a couple of BF processor codes that may not have ZF data, not sure if they have all been covered yet, if the OP had a processor strategy that did not support ZF, then a tuner could still use the Xcal 2 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/79974-capa-ford-flash-2/#findComment-1230218 Share on other sites
