Ba Clutch Fluid - Weird Colour Bright Orange!

Hi,

Checked my clutch master cylinder today and the fluid in there is bright orange, almost like the fluid is full of rust. Considering it is supposed to be brake fluid (clear) I am concerned. Would the colour be due to some type of additive or does it actually mean there is rust in there? It's so orange it looks like there is paint in the master cylinder not brake/clutch fluid.

I am currently working on mates vehicle with the same sort of problem.....

The clutch in this BAXR6T wasn't working and there was just a rusty puddle where the fluid used to be.

I found the hard line just out side the box had corroded and let fluid out and moisture in, or he added water to the mix!

Considering this, as a precaution I am replacing the slave and master as well as fixing and or replacing the hard line section.
