This Sunday, 8th of July 2012, fine weather is forecasted so I've scheduled a preview run to fine tune the route, hone timings, pin-point exact GPS waypoints and take a closer look at a few new locations I've yet to visit. The location count is now up to 27.

So if you can't make it on the 29th of July 2012 for the official cruise or just want to take advantage of the rare atmospheric conditions and burn some gasolene, feel free to join me for the day. Make sure you bring your CB radio. My car is filthy at the moment, so please don't bother washing your vehicle. No need for confirmations, just rock up to the meet point at 0930 (Berkeley Street, Carlton (the quiet laneway behind City Ford) and we'll head off.

^^Technically No. CB and UHF are 2 different frequencies but I think Rockatansky meant UHF. :spoton: CB has longer range but not too many people use it anymore.

CB (Citizens band) is an allocated (by the govt) set of frequencies on the UHF range. Range is 476.425mhz to 477.4125mhz

A CB radio is limited to those channels however a uhf can usually be programmed to work outside CB frequencies.

So CB still = uhf
