What do people want to do for lunch? Would you prefer to book somewhere or everyone sort themselves out when we get there?

I would need solid numbers in a hurry if we are to book somewhere.

There's always fish ad chip shops, chicken shops etc in Lorne (if that's where we're stopping)

Heaps of places for lunch in Lorne, not so many in Apollo Bay..

we will be in lorne around 11-11.30, so a bit early for lunch, and aiming for apollo bay around 12ish. there seems to be a few cafe's, bistro's, and takeaway shops if people are keen to just go with the flow on the day, although this can end badly if there are too many of us and we get really spread out.

Everyone got spread out at rye cruise, that wasn't so bad.

Was pretty funny because it drove everyone nuts going around in circles.

yeah except only around 8 of us ended up together! and going around in circles is what broke my car I reckon!

Food is over rated, eat when you get home…lol

Apollo bay is a lot quieter than Lorne. Parking should be okay & no bookings required for lunch..kids are back at school now..

Apollo bay hotel is where I'd go. Plenty of space for everyone there.
