Hey all my bf mk2 6speed man is all stock and even with traction control of it still kicks in like straight away and slaps me back straight.

how can I over ride this or stop it or somthing, sh*ts pretty dangerous when it throws you back.

Hold the TC button down until you see it light up on the bottom right.

If you have dual zone then the button is near the door lock. Otherwise I'm pretty sure its near the fog light switch.

Yeah that had me confused when I first got my car.

Also, mine was permanently on (the light that is) so the TC was permanetly off.

Reason being, apparently the sensor in the steering column had been knocked loose/out of place, not sure how and Ford could only speculate how but they repositioned it and TC no longer kept turning off.

I'd turn the car on, TC would be on. Drive for about 3-5 minutes and it would turn itself off thinking that the car was constantly "kicking out" or something by the sensor on the steering column.
